The Board of Health met at 7:30 PM on October 19, 2004. Attending were Timothy Stone, Ruth Brefka and Louis Fazen.

The purpose of the evening meeting was to allow Dr. Fazen easier access to attend. It was explained to him that the daytime meetings met all other needs of the board, but that his input and suggestions were more than welcome.

Dr. Stone discussed the October 16th meeting hosted by the Wayland Board of Health with regard to all aspects of Community Health – such as Water Supply; Pesticides, Obesity, Exercise, etc. The idea of hosting an “open house”, at which concerned citizens could voice their suggestions, was floated and will be reconsidered.

Mrs. Brefka moved that alternative meetings be held in the evening. She wanted it noted that although she herself preferred meeting by day she is willing to meet at night also. It was moved and voted to next meet at 2:00 PM on November 10, 2004.
