Sign Special Town Meeting warrant. The Board signed the Special Town Meeting warrant. The Board also unanimously approved the following ballot questions.
BALLOT QUESTION #1
Shall the Town of Southborough authorize the Board of Selectmen to acquire by purchase, accept by gift or take by Eminent Domain, a perpetual Conservation Restriction for the purpose of conservation and passive recreation purposes, conforming to the applicable provisions of Mass. General Laws Ch. 184 and all other pertinent laws and regulations, and other interests in real property as to land commonly known as Chestnut Hill Farm consisting of 132 +/- acres, and further shall the Town of Southborough be allowed to exempt from the provisions of proposition two and one-half, so-called, the amounts required to pay for the bond issued for this acquisition?

"Shall the Town of Southborough be allowed to exempt from the provision of proposition two and one-half, so called, the amounts required to pay for the bond issued for the demolition of the building known as the Delarda House located at 40 Central Street and to demolish Fayville Village Hall at 42 Central Street?"

"Shall the Town of Southborough be allowed to exempt from the provisions of proposition two and one-half, so called, the amounts required to pay for the bond issued in order to repair and maintain Fayville Village Hall at 42 Central Street, and to demolish the building known as the Delarda House located at 40 Central Street?
BALLOT QUESTION #4
"Shall the Town of Southborough be allowed to exempt from the provisions of proposition two and one-half, so called, the amounts required to pay for the bond issued to develop engineering and architectural plans and studies for the renovation and construction of a new municipal facility at Cordaville Hall at 9 Cordaville Road, as per the 2005 Municipal Facilities Plan?
BALLOT QUESTION #5
"Shall the Town of Southborough be allowed to exempt from the provisions of proposition two and one-half, so called, the amounts required to pay for the bond issued to fund a site feasibility study for a new public safety complex at the present location at 19-21 Main Street, as per the 2005 Municipal Facilities Plan?
Vickery Estates: Authorize DPW to plow the unaccepted road in Vickery Estates and to authorize the DPW to spend funds from the bond money turned over to the Town to complete the roadway. After consulting with Acting DPW Superintendent Karen Galligan, the Board approved this request unanimously.
Sign agreement for 1 Cordaville Road: The Board signed this agreement which is on the warrant for the January 2006 special town meeting.
