Sick Policy

*SICK POLICY*

Southborough Youth and Family Services follows a sick policy for our staff, program participants, and clients. If you are sick with a virus, cold, stomach bug, flu, or any other illness, please reschedule your appointments and/or not attend programs you are registered for. We ask that you be symptom free for a minimum of 24 hours before rescheduling an appointment or returning for an ongoing program. Residents who come to appointments or programs exhibiting cold, stomach bug, or flu-like symptoms will be asked to leave and our staff will follow up to reschedule any appointments. Because of the recent outbreak of Coronavirus we are currently waiving our 24 hour cancellation policy and ask for your flexibility and understanding if we need to cancel a service or program on short notice in order to keep everyone healthy and safe.

Per the recommendation of the CDC, individuals who have traveled internationally or domestically, who have been exposed to someone who has traveled, or have symptoms of the coronavirus, should self-quarantine for at least two weeks. This is a recommendation we give to our staff, visitors, program attendees, and instructors alike.
